Sistrums!!….the original sacred musical instrument.

The sistrum is a sacred tool that has been used for thousands of years, in the spiritual practices and rituals in Egyptian temples. Its unique sound creates music that raises our vibration and connects us to the divine. The sistrum was widely used in the worship of the Goddess Hathor, who was associated with love, beauty, and joy, and to honor the goddess Isis, Goddess of feminine power and fertility.

Today the sistrum is still used as a tool for meditation and prayer. They can be used to mark the beginning  and ending of  ritual practices and prayers, to attract blessings and abundance. The high notes it creates are perfect for clearing and cleansing auras, chakras and physical spaces from/of stuck energies. The sistrum can connect us to the divine within ourselves and in the world around us, and to experience a sense of peace and harmony. By embracing the ancient wisdom of the sistrum, we can tap into its sacred sound to transform our lives and connect with the spiritual realm.
